Balance Sheet

Everything your organization holds, in one place: bank balances, Safes, wallets and exchange accounts, across every entity you own, valued in US dollars. It’s what you check before a board meeting, a large payment or a month-end close.

It’s in the sidebar as Balance Sheet. The sidebar entry also shows your total. It has two views underneath: Dashboard and Cash.

  • One number for the whole organization. Balances from every account and chain are added up, so you don’t have to total them by hand from block explorers and bank portals.
  • See where each asset sits. Open any asset to see which accounts hold it and how much each one holds.
  • Know what’s left after planned payments. Projected takes payments that are in progress off your balances, so you can spot a shortfall before it happens.
  • Take it into a meeting. Download the balance sheet as a CSV, or a PDF Board Report.
  1. Mezzanine reads the balance of every account belonging to your organization’s own entities. Contacts’ and third parties’ accounts are never counted.
  2. Onchain tokens are valued at market prices in US dollars. Bank balances are shown at their dollar value.
  3. The same asset is combined across accounts and chains. All your USDC shows as one USDC row, whichever Safes, wallets or networks it sits on.
  4. Tokens flagged as likely spam are left out automatically. You can change what’s shown in Asset Settings.
  5. Your organization can save a default view that leaves out accounts or entities you don’t want counted, for example a test wallet.

For a walkthrough of preparing the numbers for a meeting, see Get a live board report of all your assets.

The cards at the top show:

Card What it means
Total assets The dollar value of everything on the sheet
24h change How much that value moved in the last 24 hours, in dollars and percent
Stablecoin share The percentage of your total held in stablecoins, with your largest stablecoins listed underneath
Idle cash Stablecoins and bank balances, marked Not earning

The table lists one row per asset, largest first:

  • Balance: how much of the asset you hold in total, with its dollar value underneath.
  • Price: the dollar price per unit, with the 24-hour price change underneath. It’s blank when there’s no market price for the token. A token with no price adds nothing to your dollar totals.
  • Share: the asset’s share of your total assets.

Under each asset name you’ll see its type (Stablecoin, Native, ERC-20 or Fiat) and how many accounts hold it. Click the row to open it. Each account holding the asset appears with its balance and its share of that asset. Click an account name to see the account’s details. Expand all and Collapse all open or close every row at once.

To narrow the table, search by ticker or name, or use the Chain and Type filters. These change the table and the Total assets row at the bottom, but not the cards at the top.

The Live / Projected switch sits at the right of the filter row. Live is what you hold right now, and the page always opens on it.

Projected shows the effects of your planned upcoming payments and internal transfers. The cards change to a sum:

Card What it means
Total assets What you hold right now
− Committed outflows Payments that are drafted, being approved or executing
= Projected assets What is left once they clear

The table’s columns become Balance, Committed and Projected balance. Open an asset, then open an account to see the queued payments behind its committed figure. Click a payment to open it.

If a payment can’t be matched to an account or asset on the sheet, it isn’t netted off. A note such as 2 payments not counted appears beside the cards. Hover over it to see which payments and why. If the payments can’t be loaded at all, − Committed outflows says Could not be loaded — nothing netted off.

Charts of the same holdings. The top cards show Total portfolio value, Total cash value and Total accounts. Below them:

  • Holdings by Token
  • Holdings by Entity
  • Holdings by Account Type
  • Top 10 Accounts by Value

Each chart can be shown as a Pie Chart, Bar Chart or Table. Your choice is remembered on this browser. The first three charts show your eight largest items and group the rest as Other.

Your fiat and stablecoin holdings only: what you could pay out today. For a walkthrough, see See your cash and stablecoins. The two cards show your total Fiat and Stablecoins, with the accounts or coins holding the most listed underneath.

The table lists each cash asset with its Kind (Fiat or Stablecoin), its dollar Balance, the accounts it’s Held In, and its % of Cash. Use the Kind filter to see only one or the other.

What counts as cash here:

  • Fiat: US dollar balances in bank and other off-chain accounts.
  • Stablecoins: USDC, USDT, DAI, USDe, USDtb, USD1, USDS and PYUSD, recognised by their official contract address on each network. A token that only calls itself USDC doesn’t count.

The Idle cash card on the Balance Sheet counts a little more broadly, for example bank balances in other currencies. So it can differ from the Cash total.

All three views share the account button in the filter row. It reads All accounts, or something like 5 of 7 accounts when some are left out. Click it to open Accounts on this sheet, grouped by entity with each one’s value. Untick an entity or account to leave it out. Show all and Hide all do what they say. Reset to saved puts back your organization’s saved view.

Your changes only last until you reload. To make them the default for everyone, click Save org’s default view. You’ll see Default view saved for everyone in this organization.

Open the Actions menu at the top right of any of the three views.

  • Download CSV downloads every holding, one row per asset per account, with the account, owner entity, balance, unit price, dollar value, addresses and chain. It follows your account selection and Asset Settings, but not the search box or the Chain and Type filters. On Cash you get cash assets only.
  • Board Report opens Treasury Overview Report, a PDF with an Executive Summary, Holdings by Account, Breakdown by Entity and Detailed Holdings. Click Download Report. It takes a little while; the button reads Generating Report… until the file downloads. A copy is also kept in Evergreen Artifacts under All Assets.

Airdropped spam tokens can inflate your totals. Open Actions → Asset Settings to control which assets are counted.

The page has two lists: Visible Assets and Hidden Assets. Tokens flagged as likely spam carry a Likely Spam badge and start out hidden. Click Hide or Show to move an asset across. Click more beside a token to look it up on a block explorer before you decide.

The change applies to everyone in your organization, on all three views and in the CSV. Click Back to Assets to return.

  • Hiding works by ticker. Hiding USDC hides every token called USDC, on every network and in every account, including the real one. Check with more before you hide a token that shares a name with one you hold.
  • The Board Report doesn’t follow your view. It includes every account under your organization’s own entities, and it doesn’t use your Asset Settings: it leaves out only tokens flagged as likely spam. If you’ve left accounts off the sheet, the PDF total can be higher than the page. The CSV does follow your view.
  • The CSV rounds balances and prices to two decimal places. Small balances of high-value tokens can show as 0.00. Use the page for exact figures.
  • Figures aren’t instant. Balances and prices are refreshed in the background, so a recent transfer can take a few minutes to show. The page doesn’t show an as of time.
  • Filters on the Balance Sheet change the table, not the top cards. The cards always describe every account in your current selection.
  • A token with no market price shows no price and adds nothing to your dollar totals, even though its balance is listed.
To… You need the permission
See Balance Sheet, Dashboard and Cash, and download the CSV View entities
Switch to Projected View outgoing transfers
Save the organization’s default view, or hide and show assets Manage entities
Download the Board Report Manage evergreen artifacts

Without View entities, the page reads You can’t view assets and lets you request access. If you click Projected or Save org’s default view without the permission, you’re told what’s missing and can request it.
