Home
Home is your organization at a glance: what is waiting on you, how much money the organization holds, and a short way into the pages you use most. It’s the first row in the sidebar, Home. On a phone, it’s the screen you land on when you sign in.
Why use it
Section titled “Why use it”Most days start with the same two questions: does anything need me, and where do we stand? Home answers both on one screen.
- A payment is waiting for your approval or signature. It’s at the top of the page, with the step it needs from you.
- You want the total before a meeting. The organization’s total sits at the top of the panel on the right, with how many accounts it covers.
- You need to pay, receive or move money. The round buttons start each one.
- You were looking at something earlier. Recent takes you back to it.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Open Home. Click Home in the sidebar.
- Check what needs you. The list on the left shows up to four items from Requires Action, in the same order.
- Click an item to decide it. It opens in the panel on the right, where you approve, sign or send it as you would from Requires Action.
- Start something new from the round buttons. Pay, Receive, Transfer and Approve each open the page for that job.
- Jump to a page from the Directory. Each row opens its page, with a count where one helps.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- At the start of the day, to see what is waiting on you.
- Before a payment run, to see the organization’s total.
- When you’ve finished something and want the next thing that needs you.
Using the page
Section titled “Using the page”Needs your attention
Section titled “Needs your attention”The list on the left. Its heading says how many items wait on you, such as 4 items waiting on Jordan
. When nothing does, it reads All clear and Nothing needs your attention.
It shows the first four items of the All tab in Requires Action. If there are more, click See all in Requires Action to see the rest. Each row reads the way it does there: the item, where it came from, and a pill saying what it’s waiting for. See Requires Action for what each pill means.
The panel on the right
Section titled “The panel on the right”On a wide window, Home shows a panel beside the list. On a narrower window it’s hidden, and the list fills the page.
-
The organization name. Click it to open Switch organization and pick another organization you belong to.
-
The total. What the organization holds, as the Balance Sheet adds it up, with
across 3 accounts
(or however many) under it. You see it only if you can view the Balance Sheet. -
The round buttons.

Needs you. The first three items waiting on you, with the number waiting beside the heading. Each row shows the amount, where the item stands, such as
1 of 2
, and the step it asks of you, such as Approve, Propose, Sign or Execute. A flag or document icon means someone attached one. If more than three wait, click See all to open Requires Action. When nothing waits, it readsNothing needs you right now.

. Click it to open the guide (Set up your organization). -
Recent. The last three things you opened, such as a payment or a contact, with what each is and how long ago you opened it. Click one to open it again. It’s empty until you’ve opened something.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Home and Requires Action show the same items. Deciding one in either place clears it from both.
- Recent lasts for this visit. It lists what you opened in this browser tab since it loaded. Reloading the page empties it, and other people never see yours.
- Home looks different on a phone. There, the panel on the right is the whole screen. See Use Mezzanine on your phone.
Who can use it
Section titled “Who can use it”Everyone in your organization can open Home. What it shows depends on your permissions.
