Quick Pay

Quick Pay is for sending one payment to someone outside your organization when there’s no invoice to attach: a reimbursement, a deposit, a one-off contractor payment. You fill in four things, review, and submit it for approval.

You’ll find it in the sidebar under Move Money → Quick Pay. The page is described as Send one payment without raising a bill for it.

  • It’s fast. Who to pay, how much, from which account, and what for. Mezzanine works out how it’s paid from the two accounts.
  • It’s still approved. One payment, no invoice. It still goes through approval. Each payment is approved under your organization’s approval policy like any other.
  • You can pay a wallet you don’t have as a contact. Paste the address, and it’s screened against sanctions lists before it can be approved.
  1. You choose who to pay and how much, and the account it’s paid from.
  2. You say what it’s for. Approvers see this as the payment’s description.
  3. You review it and submit it for approval.
  4. Approvers authorize it, and it’s signed and sent. See Approve, sign and send a payment.
  • A one-off payment with no invoice.
  • Paying a pasted wallet address you don’t want to set up as a contact yet.

If you have an invoice, or need a due date, category or documents, use Bill Pay. The Need to add more details? Use Bill Pay link moves what you’ve entered to a new bill. To move money between your own accounts, use Internal Transfers.
